The Humanistic Therapies I Work With
At the heart of my work is a humanistic approach—one that sees you as a whole person, not a problem to be fixed. It honours your inner world, your lived experience, and your natural capacity for growth and change.
This way of working also supports the deeper process of hypnotherapy, creating a space that is both grounded and gently transformative.
I draw on a number of humanistic approaches, depending on what feels most helpful for you:
Person-Centred Therapy
You are at the centre of the process. I work in a non-directive way, allowing you to explore what feels most important, at your own pace. By offering empathy, acceptance, and genuine understanding, I aim to create a space where you can reconnect with your inner voice and build trust in yourself.
Existential Therapy
At times, our work may explore deeper questions around meaning, purpose, and direction in life. This approach supports you in reflecting on what truly matters to you, helping you feel more aligned with your choices and more connected to how you want to live.
Gestalt Therapy
This approach brings awareness to your present-moment experience—your thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations. It can help you recognise patterns and develop a deeper understanding of yourself, opening up the possibility for change.
I integrate these approaches in a flexible and responsive way, alongside hypnotherapy, supporting both conscious insight and deeper, lasting change.
